How To Smoke A Cigar

Had the opportunity to smoke a Cuban Montecristo cigar smuggled in from Aruba this week. Took about two hours to smoke. Purists probably can’t stand to watch me with a stogie since I like to smoke down to the band - but I love the heat. Not that I could tell the difference between that one and any $5 cigar I could buy at the liquor store, but it was pretty darned good.

Here’s a good beginners guide to cigars, courtesy of Hivelogic.

  1. I had a couple in Canada while drinking Cuban rum with a couple friends of mine who recently visited Cuba. Good stuff, that. Nothing like a clear, crisp night in Vancouver with a couple mojitos and a cigar.

  2. hey, your site is really helpful. i turned 18 a few months ago and im at college right now but i cant wait to come home and enjoy a cigar with my friends. i was just wondering, do you have to cut both ends, the side you put in your mouth too?
