Opus Lives!
According to Berkeley Breathed he is bringing Opus back to the Sunday comics starting on November 23rd. No word whether Milo and the rest of the Bloom County gang will be back, but hopefully Breathed learned from his foray into a Milo-less comic with Outland, where he eventually brought back all of the popular Bloom County denizens. Bloom County was the comic strip of the 80s and while I’m disappointed that Opus will be back only once a week it certainly is better than retirement. I’ll have to drag out all of my old Bloom County compilations to read during the week, I guess.
The only thing that could make me happier would be the return of The Far Side. I guess The Complete Far Side 1980-1994 (2 vol set)
