Buying the Stanley Cup
I found out just yesterday that the “Colorado Avalanche”:http://www.coloradoavalanche.com/index.asp added “Paul Kariya”:http://www.coloradoavalanche.com/team/player.asp?PID=7 and “Teemu Salanne”:http://www.coloradoavalanche.com/team/player.asp?PID=21 to their roster this year. No they don’t replace Sakic, Forsberg, Blake et al - it’s in addition to an already fine team. That spells serious trouble for anyone hoping to compete for the Cup this year, particularly our “Wild”:http://www.wild.com/ who are still missing their two top scorers last year to holdouts.
Ouch.
