It was 1956 Yankees/Dodgers. The best major league game of all time was pitched by Don Larson, caught by Lawrence "Yogi" Berra, 27 up, 27 down. A "perfect baseball game". It was the best game simply because it happened in a world series. And not only a world series, but a series played by the bitterest of rivals. Dodgers won their first series the previous year, and it was against Yankees. But that's neither here nor there. This amazing feat, the most amazing in sports aside from ARMY's undefeated/unscored on football season, made it TOPS in world series, bar none, AMEN.
