		<description>They use Mantis as well at a place I work and it&#039;s great. I did try to get a Bugzilla installation running before (for personal use) and in the end I found that the entire interface offered more options than I could understand (&quot;overkill&quot; is the word like Joe Grossberg said above).

However, I find the interface is overkill for small things.

For example, opening a bug and assigning it to me should be one simple step.

Changing a bug&#039;s status to &quot;resolved&quot; and closing it should equally easy.

Instead, Mantis has all these intermediate steps.

At some point, I&#039;ll probably just write my own simplified page that does just that; I&#039;ve created &quot;simple add&quot; and &quot;simple search&quot; pages for my job&#039;s Bugzilla installation.
