Five Years Ago This Week – 10/4/2003

by john on October 4, 2008

Every Saturday I’ll be reaching deep into the archives. Here is what I was writing about this coming week, five long years ago:

The Mythical Million – Based on my own experience for how Technorati miscounts blogs I question whether their newly announced milestone is accurate.

Q3 2003 Zeitgeist – I wish I still did this – a quarterly view of who read my blog, what they were searching for, etc. Fun to look back on now.

Counter Strike Video – One of my most heavily commented and trafficked posts and all for just linking to a little video I didn’t even make.

Return of The Far Side – In a “I called that shot” moment, Gary Larsen briefly returns. Too brief.

Somebody sign this guy! – 7’7″ Manute Bol wants to be a jockey. I say sign him up to be a wide receiver in the NFL.

IT Leadership – Looking for a CIO five years ago.

See you next week!

Hey, nice John! Just learn another good way to revive the old posts on my blog.

Thanks.

All are not saints that go to church 🙂

I was raised half Jewish and half Catholic. When I’d go to confession, I’d say “Bless me, father, for I have sinned — and you know my attorney, Mr.Cohen.” (Bill Maher) 😉
